Lavan Dementia Care Services is a specialist nurse-led community service based in Guisborough, North Yorkshire. We deliver high-quality, evidence‑based dementia care through our day service at Sleights Community Hub and in‑home care. With a focus on inclusion, purpose, and dignity, our goal is to ensure that people living with dementia feel valued, useful, and connected.
A Nurturing, Home-Like Setting
Our Day Service, open five days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Saturday, 10:00–18:00), supports small groups of no more than 10 people—providing a premium 1:3 staff‑to‑client ratio for personalised care. We offer full day, half day, or social sessions, complete with nutritious meals, unlimited refreshments, therapeutic activities, and tailored support to meet individual needs. We also maintain two emergency respite spots daily for urgent situations.
Accepting both private and Direct Payment users. Our commitment is to deliver meaningful occupation in a nurturing, home‑like setting where families, carers, and professionals can feel confident that their loved one is in caring, capable hands.
